It is essential that you tell Dr. Moszczynski if you have had other injections during the previous four months. You also need to avoid taking blood-thinning medications such as aspirin before your treatment to reduce the risk of excessive bleeding. Also, let him know if you are using allergy medications, muscle relaxers or sleep aids prior to your appointment.

Following your treatment, you will have the ability to smile and frown as normal. However, you should avoid vigorous exercise or roughly rubbing your face. You can put an ice pack on your face or take over-the-counter medications to help minimize any swelling or discomfort after the treatment. It is also recommended that you sleep on your back.
