Latisse in Jersey City, NJ
Many cultures see long eyelashes as a sign of feminine beauty. Unfortunately, some women notice their lashes diminishing over time. While makeup and false eyelashes can help women achieve the look of longer lashes, these options are not always available. If you want to return volume and length to your lashes, consider Latisse®. Under the care of Dr. Zbigniew Moszczynski of Vein and Skin Studio, you will see an improvement in the appearance of your eyelashes. Patients who live in Bayonne, New Jersey, and the neighboring areas can benefit from this treatment.
What is Latisse®?
Dr. Moszczynski may suggest Latisse® to correct short, ill-defined lashes. There are temporary solutions available, but these solutions do not provide customers with the results they desire. Clinical trials show that Latisse® provides a permanent solution to short eyelashes. Patients see results within a few weeks of starting treatment.
Benefits of Latisse®
Latisse® does not just give you longer, fuller lashes- it provides several other benefits, including:
- Being an at-home treatment that you can apply yourself.
- Providing noticeable results in a couple of weeks.
- Producing darker eyelashes after consistent application
What is the Procedure for Latisse®?
Before starting your treatments, you will schedule a consultation with Dr. Moszczynski. At this consultation, he will talk to you about the benefits and risks associated with using Latisse®. If you are found to be a good candidate, he will apply the first treatment to your lashes in order to show you the correct method and ensure you are comfortable with it.
When applying the treatment, make sure you have a clean, dry face. Remove any makeup, skincare products and lotion from your eyelids. Dry your face with a clean towel.
Next, put a drop of Latisse® onto the applicator. Hold the applicator horizontally, (like you are holding a mascara brush), and put the product on your lashes. Start at the inside of the top eyelid, and slowly move the brush just as you would if you were applying eyeliner. If you have any excess product on your lashes, use a soft cloth or cotton ball to remove it.
Most patients incorporate the application of Latisse® into their nighttime routine. Some will apply the product right after their bath and facial scrub.
At Home Care
Latisse® is only available by prescription. However, you can apply the treatment yourself at home. Please follow the instructions as written on the packaging. Latisse® should not be used on your bottom lashes or eyelids. Avoid getting any of the product in your eyes. If you adhere to these rules, Latisse® will be effective and safe to use. Contact Dr. Moszczynski if you have any questions or concerns. He will be happy to answer any them.
How Much Does Latisse® Cost?
Because each patient has individual needs, the cost of Latisse® varies. Since insurance providers view Latisse® as an elective treatment, the cost is not covered by insurance. There are several payment options available to help you pay for Latisse®. Vein and Skin Studio accepts credit cards, personal checks, and cash. We also offer financing options through CareCredit® to our patients.
Is Latisse® Right for Me?
If you are tired of wasting money using temporary solutions to achieve fuller, longer lashes, then Latisse® may be right for you. Latisse® is formulated to increase your lash’s growth cycle. You need only to apply this solution before bedtime each evening to achieve results.
What to Expect During Your Latisse® Consultation
At your initial consultation with Dr. Moszczynski, the doctor will perform a health evaluation and ask about any of your current or previous eye conditions. You should take the time to address any of your questions and concerns at this meeting. If Dr. Moszczynski believes you are an ideal candidate for Latisse®, he will show you how to properly apply the treatment. He will also inform you of any precautions you need to take when using it.
If you are interested in having thicker, longer eyelashes, contact Dr. Zbigniew Moszczynski at the Vein and Skin Studio. He will help you determine whether Latisse® is right for you. The Vein and Skin Studio proudly serves patients from Bayonne and the surrounding areas in New Jersey.
